ACT Projects

AFL encourages its associates to engage with local non-profit organizations by participating in ACT (AFL Community Team) projects. When a team of AFL volunteers comes together to provide “sweat equity” for a non-profit, the volunteer team is also able to present the organization with a grant up to $3,000 made possible by AFL’s Community Outreach Program.

 

AFL volunteers have participated in a wide variety of projects since the program was initiated in 2004. From painting to weeding to building, associates have taken on huge tasks, completing them in just a short amount of time. What would take one or two people days to complete, AFL’s volunteer team can complete in half a day.
