The Poli-MOD Optical Interconnect Module is an innovative patch and splice module, which allows for increased patch and splice densities in an incremental growth platform. Based on the LGX footprint, this product is capable of supporting up to 144 patch and splices in a standard 4U LGX patch panel, and up to 288 patch and splices (with LC connectors) in AFL's Xpress Fiber Management 4U patch panel. Front and rear accessibilty, complete separation in storage for the spliced fiber and simplified organization and identification round out the feature set. The modular design of the PoliMOD enables flexible growth through it's modular design, which allows the incremental addition of modules without risk of damaging or disturbing previously installed links.
