Q: Can the Main and Remote units be swapped once deployed in the field? A: Yes, each T500B unit can be designated as either the Main or Remote unit. To switch the T500B Main/Remote, access the main menu “Other Functions / General Setup”.
Q: What is the dynamic range of the talk set in the T500B? A: 45 dB. This provides an approximate test range of 100 km (60 miles) @1310 nm and 180 km (100+ miles) @1550 nm.
