AFL is a Master System Operator (MSO) for DIRECTV®’s Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) business. As an MSO, AFL enables your company to serve as a DIRECTV System Operator (SO) for MDU properties, including:

• Condominium complexes
• Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC), including hospital facilities
• Apartment and townhome communities
• University housing
• Resort communities

AFL can also serve as the system operator for commercial properties. As a DIRECTV SO working with AFL, your company can offer triple play (voice, video, data) services featuring DIRECTV video and interactive services as the showcase amenity. You will be providing the best TV experience in the world including:

• The most HD content
• NFL Sunday Ticket and the most sports available on TV
• Competitive programming packages
• Original programming
• Interactive services including thousands of video-on-demand titles

You will also have the opportunity to receive revenues for triple play services and commissions for DIRECTV providing service to DIRECTV customers. This results in a compelling business plan. All of this content is delivered over your property’s infrastructure using DIRECTV’s advanced “Multi-Family Housing” delivery systems, including MFH2™ primarily for systems with legacy coax networks, and MFH3™, Internet Protocol (IP) delivery system, primarily for properties with existing copper, Cat 5 or optical fiber.
