UTC Presents 2011 Dondanville Award to AFL Director Rusty Williams


Spartanburg, SC – AFL's Rusty Williams was presented with the 2011 Dondanville Award at theUtilities Telecom Council (UTC) annual conference earlier this month. This award recognizes outstanding service to the electric utility industry and the individual's contributions to UTC. An active member of UTC for many years, Rusty has served as chairman of the board, president of the southeast region, and chair of the public policy division.

Prior to AFL, he worked at Southern Company for 27 years in various telecom and information technology roles including engineering, operations and architecture.
