AFL Associates Partner with TreesGreenville for ReLEAF Day

Spartanburg, SC – AFL, a leading manufacturer of fiber optic cable, equipment and accessories, helped raise awareness for TreesUpstate’s urban forestry program by sponsoring and volunteering for TreesGreenville ReLEAF Day. On March 16, approximately 30 AFL associates, friends and family planted trees at Victor Park in Greer. Across the upstate of South Carolina, volunteers planted 150 trees in six sites around Greenville County.
“One aspect of AFL’s community outreach program is a commitment to preserving our environment,” said Corie Culp, community relations manager at AFL. “Partnering with TreesGreenville gives associates an opportunity to get involved in conservation efforts that make a difference right here our local community.”
