AFL Swindon Raises £5,000 For Imagine That! Fundraising Campaign

Swindon UK and Spartanburg, SC – July 10, 2019 – AFL, a global manufacturer of fiber optic cable, equipment and accessories, completed its annual Imagine That! fundraising campaign donating £5,000 back four organizations in the community. This year’s theme was Game On! and featured various gaming concepts.
“Community Engagement is one of our Core Values and throughout this campaign, our associates showed us how they were living it,” said Fiona Hill, community outreach coordinator for AFL Europe. “Their passion to help others was evident.”
AFL's annual Imagine That! campaign engages and educates associates around the world about the needs in the community. During the campaign, associates are asked to consider making a personal financial contribution.
Organizations supported through this campaign included Prospect Hospice, Headway Swindon, Wilshire Air Ambulance and Threshold Housing Link. Prospect Hospice provides care for someone with a life-limiting illness. Headway Swindon is a support system for those who have suffered from a brain injury. Wiltshire Air Ambulance is an essential helicopter emergency medical service providing care for the people of Wiltshire and surrounding areas. And Threshold Housing Link supports the homeless.
AFL runs the Imagine That! annual fundraising campaign during the month of May. This year, associates donated $506K (US) to AFL communities worldwide.
