Le manchon de réparation incorpore une conception améliorée d'extrusions s'emboîtant les unes dans les autres, offrant une prise permanente sur le conducteur lorsqu'il est comprimé. Le manchon de réparation permet de restaurer le conducteur à 95 % de sa résistance nominale ASTM lorsque jusqu'à un tiers des brins sont endommagés.
