Le connecteur en té de la série 5500 est une chute permanente conçue pour les conducteurs ACSR. Le connecteur en T est fabriqué en aluminium étiré sans soudure AFL.
La partie courante comprend une conception améliorée d'extrusions s'emboîtant les unes dans les autres, assurant une prise permanente sur le conducteur lorsqu'il est comprimé.
La partie branche du connecteur en T est conçue pour une utilisation en tension limitée, en maintenant un minimum de 40% de la résistance nominale ASTM du conducteur sur lequel elle est utilisée.
Pour les sections de matrices de 30AH et plus, les cônes d'extrémité des parties de compression de tous les accessoires de compression sont fournis avec une finition haute tension.
