ABOUT OUR PRESENTERS |
Anthony Medeiros is New Technology Consultant and Brasil Representative for AFL. With more than 25 years in fiber optics and two patents for fiber optic equipment, Anthony specializes in test, turnup, installation and design of optical networks. He is a consultant to the Department of Defense and U.S. Army 571st Signal Brigade for KOTNET operations in South Korea. Anthony holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from the Federal University in Rio de Janeiro with post graduate studies at the University of Connecticut at Storrs. |
Michael Scholten is a Senior Product Marketing Manager for AFL's NOYES Test and Inspection division. He has over 20 years of experience in fiber optic network test, including product marketing, systems engineering, project management, hardware and software development. His experience includes FTTx, OTN, SDH, and Ethernet at data rates up to 100 Gb/s, for which he has previously been an active participant in ITU-T standardization activities. Prior to joining AFL, Michael was Sr. Strategic Marketing Manager for Vitesse Semiconductor. Michael holds a BSEE from Michigan Technological University. |
