Optical Connectivity 1 Super Small Transition (SST) Field-Installable Fanout and Breakout Kits Fanout/breakout kits are designed for use when high-fiber-count cables need to be broken down into smaller subunits of fiber. SST fanout kits are are made with yellow or aqua furcation tubing and intended to break cables down into bundles of 12F or 24F with the intention of terminating them into modules or with FUSEConnect ® MPO connectors. SST breakout kits are designed with black, expandable braided sleeve furcation to accommodate 144F and 288F per tube.
