Optical Connectivity 1 AFL RTD Drop Connectors – Powered by Prodigy ® are the latest design of hardened outside plant (OSP) drop connectors for AFL's FTTx Solutions. Made under the license of CommScope, these new Drop Connectors are 40% smaller that our current AFL TRIDENT ® Connectors and allow for backward compatibility with AFL TITAN ® RTD Terminals. These connectors feature easy "plug and play" mating with converters that are compatible with SC/APC, Full-size Hardened Connectors, and other connector types. AFL RTD Drop Connectors – Powered by Prodigy ® can be easily “converted” at the factory or in the field to mate with various other terminal port types. Factory-terminated connectors are available in one to four fiber configurations on 250 μm outdoor or 900 μm indoor/outdoor flat drop cable. ADSS Drop Cable options are also available in one to four fiber configurations. BABA-compliant product configurations are also available.
