Jaxon Lang
President and CEO
Jaxon Lang joined AFL as Chief Operating Officer in January 2023 and was appointed President & CEO in June 2023, leading AFL’s global operations across products, services and solutions. Guided by a “customer-first” vision, he focuses on exceeding customer expectations by strengthening core business operations and advancing product innovation. Through collaborative leadership, he ensures the organization is strategically positioned for profitable growth and long-term success.
Before AFL, Jaxon served as President & CEO of FiberRise Communications, an engineering solutions provider specializing in electric grid modernization and utility-grade broadband services. Under his leadership, FiberRise was successfully acquired by ENTRUST Solutions Group.
Prior to FiberRise, Jaxon held senior leadership roles at CommScope, where he led the $2.8B Connectivity Solutions segment as Senior Vice President. His responsibilities spanned strategy, product management, market development, R&D, manufacturing, distribution and global supply chain operations – overseeing 11,000 employees across 20 facilities in more than 100 countries. Jaxon joined CommScope through its acquisition of TE Connectivity’s Broadband Network Solutions (BNS) business, where he served as Vice President and General Manager for the Central and North American Telecom and Enterprise markets. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at ADC, including Vice President of Global Connectivity Solutions for the Americas.
Jaxon holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. A recognized inventor, he holds patents in telecommunications and network equipment design that have contributed to industry standards. Jaxon has also served as a member of the Telecommunications Industry Association and Quest Forum.
Outside of his professional achievements, Jaxon is driven by a passion for creating meaningful impact. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Upstate South Carolina American Heart Association and was recognized as one of Greenville’s 50 Most Influential People of 2024.
