Die Optical Entrance Enclosures (OEE) bieten eine wandmontierte, nach NEMA 3 eingestufte Spleißlösung, wenn es darum geht, eine große Anzahl von Fasern an einem geschützten oder ungeschützten Konvergenzpunkt zu verbinden. Der OEE kann als hochleistungsfähiger Glasfaser-Demarkationspunkt betrachtet werden, der typischerweise als Übergangspunkt in einer Zentrale, einem Headend, einem Datenzentrum, einem Umspannwerk/CEV oder einem anderen Kundenstandort für den Übergang von einem nicht flammwidrigen Kabel im Außenbereich zu einem flammwidrigen Kabel im Innenbereich dient. Das Gehäuse bietet eine adäquate und intuitiv gestaltete Möglichkeit zur Lagerung von Lose, um den Installationsprozess zu vereinfachen und zukünftige Rekonfigurationen zu ermöglichen. Starr montierte Teleskopspleißschalen (Schalen sind separat erhältlich) bieten individuellen Zugang zu jeder Spleißstelle/Gruppe von Spleißstellen, ohne dass Spleißschalen und Kabeldurchhang entstapelt oder neu konfiguriert werden müssen. Der OEE verwendet Schindelsätze, um die Verwaltung von bis zu 60 Kabeln (insgesamt) verschiedener Größen zu unterstützen, die in das Gehäuse ein- und ausgehen, und dichtet / hält jedes einzelne fest. Die Ganzstahlkonstruktion, die haltbare Pulverbeschichtung und die Beschläge aus rostfreiem Stahl sorgen für Zuverlässigkeit, während die robuste und flexible Wandbefestigung in Keilform und das serienmäßige Schloss mit Schlüssel für zusätzliche Sicherheit sorgen.
Optische Eingangsgehäuse sind in zwei Größen / Kapazitäten erhältlich:
