To operate, the user simply sets the adapter cap and power meter to the same wavelength, either 1490 or 1550 nm. A third ‘unfiltered’ adapter cap position is provided to measure optical power at 1310 nm or any other wavelength supported by the power meter. The new adapter cap is compatible with SC or angled SC connectors.
