AFL's Traditional Downhole Cable is designed to perform in the well and withstand elevated temperatures, high pressure and corrosive environments.  The cable is customized to the customer's specifications in order to maximize performance at the best possible price.  AFL's Traditional Downhole cable was designed for land based and offshore wells where the temperature can be up to 150ºC.  This design uses AFL's patented stainless steel tube technology and incorporates hydrogen scavenging material to counter the effects of hydrogen in the well.  Further versatility with this cable is achieved through customization of different alloys and outer encapsulations.  Uses of AFL's downhole cables are for temperature sensing, pressure sensing and acoustic monitoring of the oil or gas reservoir with the added data allowing for increased production.
