07/18/2022

Spartanburg, SC – July 18, 2022 – AFL, an international manufacturer of fiber optic cable and equipment, is launching FlexReporter, a cloud-based, high-performance reporting platform to address the reporting needs of leading telecom providers, enterprise customers and Hyperscale datacenters. FlexReporter software suite works with AFL Test and Inspection equipment.

Capable of generating reports for thousands of fibers at one time, FlexReporter leverages cloud technology to become the most scalable report generation platform in the industry. AFL is a leading provider of high fiber count cables and FlexReporter generates a 6,912-fiber cable summary report in minutes.

FlexReporter is designed to meet the unique OSS integration requirements of major telecom providers. With its flexible data formats, support for many access technologies, and flexible API interfaces, it can be quickly integrated with exsisting OSS systems.

The FlexReporter platform includes FlexApp, a mobile App that wirelessly transfers test results from the field to the Cloud. These results can be accessed via FlexReports that provide a variety of easy-to-use options for report generation.

“Our new FlexReporter will make the job of reporting test results quick and simple. From its easy-to-use UI to its fast cloud engine, FlexReporter cuts report generation time by 75% over our competition and is ideal for supporting high-fiber cable installations.” explained Dane Krampitz, Senior Product Manager for AFL’s Test & Inspection group. “FlexReporter is accessible from any device, anywhere and allows technicians to generate and share reports very quickly. Large fiber count reports can easily be generated in under three minutes which considerably speeds up a user’s workflow”

FlexReporter supports reporting for all AFL FlexScan OTDRs, FOCIS inspection systems, OLTS, and OPM products. It also provides a seamless migration for thousands of users of our legacy reporting systems. Click here to view AFL’s complete product line of test and inspection devices plus accessories.
