Optical Connectivity 1 FUSEConnect ® MPO Tool Kit and Accessories The FUSEConnect MPO tool kit provides all the necessary installation tools required for fiber preparation for coated ribbon or cordage ribbon for AFL’s FUSEConnect Fusion Spliced Field Installable MPO Connectors except for a fusion splicer, splicer accessories and precision cleaver. The kit includes industry standard fiber preparation tools as well as the unique heater attachment tool which allows the FUSEConnect MPO connector to be terminated using a Fujikura 70R or 90R series splicer. Additionally, the carrying case has adequate storage for extra connectors for on-site convenience.
