David Kozicz
President – AFL Network Services

As President of AFL Network Services, David brings a wealth of transformational operations and enterprise experience, built on a deep understanding of and focus on customer-centric objectives and results.

With over 25+ years of global leadership experience in the telecom and service industry, David delivers through innovation and collaboration, to generate tremendous customer outcomes and bring the full complement of AFL Network Services’ strengths to exceed expectations.

 


Kathy Kirkup
Chief Financial Officer – AFL Network Services


Kathy is Chief Financial Officer for AFL Network Service and is responsible for the finance and accounting functions of the business. Kathy has been leading the financial operations for over five years.

Kathy has over 30 years of experience leading finance teams within the telecommunications, cable, broadcasting and oil and gas industries. Previously Kathy held financial leadership roles with Platinum Communications, Midfield Supply and Monarch Communications.

Kathy is a designated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).

 


Andrew Strain
Senior Vice President – Premise Operations & Strategic Partnerships

Andrew is Senior Vice President – Premise Operations & Strategic Partnerships and is responsible for leading the overall growth and operations of the residential telecommunications partnerships for AFL Network Services across Canada. Andrew ensures all aspects of the residential installation and repair experience are exceptional for both partners and customers with a focus on operational excellence. Andrew has over 20 years of experience leading large teams across Canada within the telecom sector including various executive positions with Shaw Communications.

 


Mandeep Samra

Mandeep Samra
Vice President – MXU

Mandeep is Vice President - MXU and is responsible for leading the end-to-end operations of both Brownfield and Greenfield MXU for AFL Network Services across Canada. This includes Access Agreements, Network designs, civil construction, OSP/ISW cabling/splicing and customer connections. Mandeep has earned a reputation as a problem solver who excels at delivering exceptional customer service and growing the business. Mandeep has won both the Fujikura President’s award and the AFL President’s award in recent years for his role as a key team member responsible for launching and scaling the MXU business for AFL Network Services. Mandeep has over 15 years of experience within the telecom sector including 10 years of service with AFL.

Vice President – Market Success & Business Development

Andrew Stroud is Vice President – Market Success & Business Development, bringing three decades of leadership experience across the telecommunications, data center, and healthcare industries. Known for his ability to navigate complex technology environments, Andrew has led transformative initiatives that drive innovation, streamline infrastructure, and enhance operational performance. He has held key leadership roles, shaped strategic direction and accelerating growth in fast-paced, evolving markets. His areas of expertise include network architecture, data security, healthcare technology, and market development, positioning him as a vital connector between technical innovation and industry demands.

 


Irene Bidinger
Executive Director – Human Resources

Irene is Executive Director – Human Resources for AFL Network Services and is responsible for leading the HR function which includes talent acquisition, performance management and development, engagement, succession planning, payroll and benefits, as well as, communications and community engagement.

With a career spanning 17 years across the engineering consulting and mining industries, including eight years in leadership roles, Irene has acquired expertise in setting HR strategies and practices that encompasses all facets of the field. Irene is a skilled and trusted people centric advisor who plays a key role in servicing our business partners.

 


Stephen Hall

Director – Environment Health and Safety

Stephen Hall is a seasoned safety leader with a strong foundation in emergency response and industrial operations. Joining AFL Network Services in 2015, Stephen brings over a decade of experience as a Professional Firefighter, complemented by five years in the oil and gas and heavy construction sectors. As a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and holder of a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Stephen combines technical expertise with strategic business acumen to drive safety excellence across complex environments.
