John joined AFL as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development in 2025. He has extensive experience in the data center, critical power and telecommunications industries, with leadership roles across engineering, product management, sales and business unit management.

Prior to joining AFL, John served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Natron Energy. He also spent several years at CommScope in senior executive positions, including Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Building and Data Center Connectivity business unit.

John holds 18 patents for telecom and data center fiber infrastructure design and served on the advisory board for Infrastructure Masons. He holds a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
