Optical Connectivity 1 The AFL 10RU Fiber Patch and Splice Panel is designed for use as a rack mount interconnect point where termination and connectivity of up to 288 fibers is desired. The standard density, two panel design is based on a 10 rack unit height comprised of a 5RU Termination Patch Panel and a 5RU Optical Splice Shelf. The 5RU Termination Patch Panel includes a master plate that is provisioned with 12 LGX ® 170 compatible mounting positions. The 5RU Optical Splice Shelf utilizes six STF-48 telescoping splice drawers. Standard 10RU Fiber Patch and Splice Panels are available empty for complete field configuration, half loaded with adapter plates and STF-48 telescoping splice trays, or loaded with pigtails, adapter plates and STF-48 telescoping splice trays. El diseño de densidad estándar de dos paneles se basa en una altura de 10 unidades de rack de , compuesta por un panel de conexión de terminación de 5RU
y un estante de empalme óptico de 5RU. El panel de parcheo de terminación 5RU incluye una placa maestra que está provista de doce posiciones de montaje compatibles con LGX® 170. El estante de empalme óptico 5RU utiliza seis cajones de empalme telescópicos STF-48.
Los paneles de conexión y empalme de fibra estándar de 10RU están disponibles vacíos para una configuración completa sobre el terreno, medio cargados con placas adaptadoras y bandejas de empalme telescópicas STF-48, o cargados con pigtails, placas adaptadoras y bandejas de empalme telescópicas STF-48.
