Wedge Clamps

AFL's TAPLINK™ Wedge Connectors are used to tap a conductor to a main line distribution power line. Wedge connectors are unique in their ability to hold continuous pressure on the conductors during thermal cycling. AFL Wedge Tap Connectors are used to make complete aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-copper electrical connections on AAC, ACSR and AAAC conductors.

AFL Wedge Tap Connectors are used to make complete aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-copper electrical connections.
The C-shaped body of AFL's Pad Tap connector includes a 2-hole or 4-hole NEMA pad that can be used to connect various NEMA devices to aluminum and copper conductors.
AFL Wedge Stirrup Connectors are designed to protect the conductor from damage caused by arcing in applications where hotline clamps are attached.
AFL Hotline Bail Connectors include a tin plated copper bail designed to protect the main line conductor from damage caused by arcing as hotline clamps are connected and disconnected.
